a hearty vegan dinner, is such a thing possible?

the finished product w/ a side of chipotle vegan mayo:
growing up any vegan kids i knew i presumed to be nuts, what the hell would they eat? oh how the tables have turned... well it's thanks to recipes like this that make veganism a joy. my wife introduced me to this little number and for my money it is the best veggie burger i've ever had. it has great taste, great flavor, and great texture which is often lacking in a veggie burger.

the finished product cooked in a frying pan in olive oil, i'm afraid a grill wouldn't be ideal for these babies.
here's the before, the recipe consists of making a patty with sauteed beets(3), onion, jalapeno, 5 cloves garlic, 1/2 cup cooked rice, 1/2 cup cooked quinoa, 1/4 cup of flour, sea salt, coriander, red pepper flakes, and the secret ingredient liquid smoke!(liquid smoke will give any veggie item that meaty flavor you may or well, may not miss). lastly we have sweet potato fries, normally i toss them in olive oil, sea salt, and rosemary, however we were out of rosemary so i used cumin instead. another key to getting them right is to broil them for a few minutes after they are soft, it just helps to get the right texture and look.
